How it works

Phase One of the Resultations Method℠ includes a design audit of current presentations and an assessment of presenting delivery skills. These activities provide the clarity needed to identify presentation strengths and uncover skill improvement opportunities in presentation design and delivery.

This information is carried forward into the next activity of Phase One as we start to update or create a new presentation using my trademarked blueprint approach.

The Be Brilliant Blueprint is not a simple fill-in-the-blank document, brainstorming session, or outline.

How it works

Once you clarify, it is time to CREATE. This typically means opening a laptop and pecking around at your slides. Stop! That workflow isn’t efficient! It leads to poor content structure, an overreliance on text on slides, and it is a waste of time.

In Phase Two, you learn a workflow proven to streamline the slide development process. We start this phase with your laptop closed and use a slide storyboard technique to cut the time you spend creating sides and reduce the number of slides by half. We conclude this phase by using the slide storyboard as a roadmap and create a visually dynamic slide deck.

What does moving through the Resultations Method℠ look like?

Step 1: Complete the Be Brilliant Blueprint mentioned in Phase One.

Step 2: Sketch your slides using the Storyboard Slide Sketch tool.

Step 3: Create slides using the storyboard as a roadmap. Clients can choose from creating the slides together (DWY) or having them created for you (DFY).

Phase Two is where most presenters start and spend most of their time. While this phase is essential, it should be the quickest. The key to a brilliant resultation is to dedicate the bulk of your preparation time, energy, and focus to phases one and three.

How it works

Let’s get real! The previous two phases are nearly pointless if you cannot CAPTURE your audience and move them to act. Holding yourself accountable to results means not ignoring practice sessions..

Phase Three of the Resultations Method℠ is focused on accountability and purposeful practice, which are vital to boosting confidence and achieving results. Honestly, it’s the biggest misstep presenters make—not practicing enough, not practicing correctly, and not tracking results.

Through years of working with over 1,000 presenters, I know the secret to meaningful practice—a three-pronged layered approach I call 1-2-3 to Mastery.

Practice 1: Master your storytelling, verbal variance, and word choice.

Practice 2: Layer in nonverbal details and master your body language and facial expressions.

Practice 3: Layer on any technical elements and master audience interactions and stage movement.

Mastering your presentation delivery skills requires you to master this practice regimen. During phase three, you’ll be guided in a fun, motivating way and gain meaningful coaching packed with actionable feedback. You’ll uncover your natural presentation style and superpowers, learn to leverage them to your advantage, and become the presenter you’ve always wanted to be!

Phase Three continues with accountability and results metric tracking as you give presentations. We review and track results, identifying where to adjust the presentation design or your delivery to maximize results – ensuring you go beyond presentations to brilliant resultations!
